Meet some of the Midway ISD Counselors...
Karen Gillette--Speegleville Elementary
Karen has been an elementary counselor for 16 years, and a school counselor for 18 years. Speegleville Elementary is our smallest elementary campus with 350 students. It is located in a more rural part of our school district. Jodi Heston--Hewitt Elementary
Jodi has been an elementary counselor for 16 years. Hewitt Elementary is our most diverse elementary campus with 53% of the students identified as economically disadvantaged and over 6 different languages represented. |
Robyn Johnson--South Bosque Elementary
Robyn has been an elementary counselor for 11 years. Prior to that, she has worn the hats of Educational Diagnostician, special education teacher, adjunct professor, and children's and preschool church director. South Bosque Elementary predominately serves families who are highly educated and who are highly invested in the education of their children. Crystal Lovett--Woodway Elementary
Crystal has been an elementary counselor for 3 years. She taught 2nd grade and worked in the business world before joining the ranks of school counseling. Woodway Elementary is a rapidly changing campus, growing in both its ethnic and economic diversity. |
